A box of Kodachromes found in the attic of my parents home. Pictures made by my grandmother, mostly of people I never met. Nostalgia renders the most germane photographs superior to anything I feel capable of creating. I begin to place these family snapshots alongside those I am making now of my family with my phone. A snapshot, a moment lost, a moment gained. Time, and distance from the photograph aggregate the memories of total strangers into our feelings about the world. Look, here is the proof, everything is OK, if only for a moment.
